Summary

Standard type 22 pillbox, thick-walled. Brick anti-ricochet wall. Exterior blast wall is 'L'-shape, with one leg attached to pillbox in front of entrance. Single embrasure in blast wall, but none in entrance wall. Entrance faces NNW.

Full Description

Some 40m NNW of the former railway line (now a footpath), nearly midway between Park Road and Bridge St. Road railway bridges. Standard type 22 pillbox, thick-walled. Brick anti-ricochet wall. Exterior blast wall is 'L'-shape, with one leg attached to pillbox in front of entrance. Single embrasure in blast wall, but none in entrance wall. Entrance faces NNW.
