Full Description

Overlooking junction of several country roads and bridge over small river, about 0.5 of a mile SW of Ellough. A small type 22 pillbox with unprotected entrance, covered by rifle embrasure. There are large embrasures in the other walls. Although not clear in photographs attached to the record, there are small square holes below each embrasure. The pillbox faces S and has an internal Y-shaped anti-ricochet wall (S1).
