Full Description

A site visit undertaken during desk-based assessment recorded a surviving WWII concrete and brick structure, identified as a pillbox or battle headquarters (S1).

2005: A square concrete building was identified during and aerial photographic assessment and appears to be a probable Battle Headquarters which would have been related to the defence of Martlesham airfield (MRM 083) to the south. (S2)
