18th C Grade II* listed house with an impressive façade, which also appears to contain some 17th C features. It has seen substantial rebuilding and alterations, particularly during the 19th C when a number of extensions were constructed and also after the house was damaged by fire during the 1990's. It was used as offices for a time, but it is now proposed to convert it back into housing (S1 + S2).
1995: Site was visited as part of demolition work to the rear of the building. Obivous signs of Late Medieval intrutions into the natural with brick and tile (S3).
