Full Description
Archaeological monitoring of the excavation of footing trenches and the footprint of a new extension to the rear of 55, Church Street, Orford identified a series of intercutting pits dating from the medieval period. The finds assemblage recovered from the pits indicates activity on the site sometime in the 12th to the 14th century (S1).
