During the building of the Westley Estate by James Homes Ltd in the late 1960s/early 1970s a disused, bricklined icehouse was discovered.

During the building of the Westley Estate by James Homes Ltd in the late 1960s/early 1970s a neatly bricklined icehouse was discovered on one of the plots south of Westley Brow. An approximate grid reference is given as the exact location is unknown. This icehouse may be connected with Westley Hall located less than 1k away (see WLY 012). (S1)
