Full Description
Area of partially surviving historic landscape, Great Wolfell (see COK 073 for Nether Wolfell to the east). Acreware land, suggesting early tenure of farmland including 'sackage' land - (giving grazing rights) and 'campo' names. Defined by local historian Vera Lloyd using various early maps, field names and other documents (her map is held in large hanging cabinet) (S1).
Several of the internal field boundaries have now gone.
