Full Description
Evaluation and excavation identified a prehistoric features including a possible posthole structure and finds (S1).
Evaluation identified a small number of scattered features were identified across Fields 13 to 25 that were dated to the prehistoric and Roman periods. These may represent field systems and other elements related to dispersed settlement located outside the pipeline easement (S2).
2008: A dense scatter of ferrous material obscured any potential results from the magnetometer survey of Field 15 (Stonebridge Farm); Field 13 (Stonebridge Farm) yielded a probable field boundary and little else of archaeological note (S3).
