Full Description
Claimed site of lost vill of Sparkford identified through documentary, map, aerial photographic and on site finds evidence on a large cultivated field formerly named 'Great Chapel Field' and 'Peacocks' and bordered on the north by Occupation Road, an ancient trackway running east from Aldham Priory (S1). No further details.
Note: Med pottery and shells recorded to west on same field - HNS 004.
