Full Description

A 15th C timber-framed and plastered house, which was originally a jettied inn called the One Bell. Some of the frame is exposed both externally and internally and a number of apotropaic marks are present on some beams. The dwelling has been much altered over time and extensive remodelling was carried out during the Georgian era. Further renovation was carried out in the 1930's and the roof was partly replaced in 1973 (S1).
