Summary

Somewhat sinuous large bank earthwork forming very large (circa 700m N-S) iregularly curving enclosure (3 sides only survive) boundary on north, west and south of 'Bombay', with entrances in centre west and possibly the south-west.

Full Description

Somewhat sinuous large bank earthwork forming very large (circa 700m N-S) iregularly curving enclosure boundary on north, west and south of 'Bombay', with entrances in centre west and possibly the south-west. Showing on 2m resolution LIDAR image (S1).
Note: north boundary forms parish boundary with Eriswell. Shown as partly tree covered in 1880s & 1900 OS maps. Now open in area partly covered by FC plantations.
