Full Description
Site of a Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery at Normanston. It was armed with four 3.7-inch static guns with GL Mark II radar in 1942, when it was manned by 332 Battery of the 106th Royal Artillery Regiment, and was retained as a Nucleus Force Headquarters Battery in 1946 (S1)
