Full Description
The Mid Suffolk Light Railway once ran for 19 miles between Haughley to Laxfield, it was built in accordance with the 1896 Light Railway Act. The railway opened to the public in 1908 with a station at Aspall. In 1924 the line became part of the London and North Eastern Railaway. "Railway in course of construction" is visible on 2nd Edition OS Map.
