Full Description
2013-2014: Excavation identified several ditches of Iron Age date and two curvilinear gullies also of Iron Age date as well as a number of pits. Ditches of Roman date were also present and likely represent a continuation of the Iron Age activity. Medieval ditches were present at the north end of this area which continued into compound 4 (see BAR 084), and further medieval ditches and pits were also present. (S1)
