Full Description

c.1935: Flake of grey flint with edge-worked point and notching on one side edge. Dark grey, waxy surface. Found on surface after "crag" dressing (NB: not a `sub-crag specimen'). Sent with a covering letter to J R Moir, (S1).

Location and description are broad and should be treated with suspicion, However there is a record on the HER of nearby pits (RMS 033) which could be the source of the implement, (S2).

Formerly recorded as BAW MISC
