Full Description
Evaluation identified A small undated pit towards the southern end of the trench. A Bronze age pit/ditch was located towards the middle of the tench and contained a number of worked flints . This Bronze Age feature was cut by a Saxon grave and inhumation laid out but slightly crouched with a iron knife and ring as grave goods. A second grave cut was also identified cutting the Bronze Age feature but was left un-excavated (S1).
