Full Description

A watching brief revealed two ditches running at right angles to each other (S1) of which the NW-SE aligned ditch is almost certainly a former drain (S2). The alignment of the second ditch suggests it is likely to be a field boundary but likely predates the drain as it is not visible on the 1st edition OS map (S2) and is cut by the drain (S1).
