Full Description
A single pit containing a sherd of Early Saxon pottery was recorded during an watching brief for an extension. A fragment of a horse metapodial was recovered from the pit next to the pottery sherd. Eight fragments of animal bone and Late Saxon pottery were recovered as surface finds. Another undated linear pit was recorded (S1).
