Full Description

The building is timber framed and dated to the mid-18th century. It was refronted with white brick in the 1870s. The interior of the meeting house is relatively unaltered, retaining its gallery, elders’ stand and some benches. The burial ground is at the front of the building (when viewed from St John’s Street) and retains a number of headstones of mid-19th century date onwards, within a landscaped garden space (S1).
