Former Green suggested on tithe map (S1) by fields either side with the field names Upper and Lower Maypole Green field, Further Martin Green Field, Maypole Green Plantation and Maypole Green Field. Green is also Visible on Hodskinson's (S2) and named Maypole Green. Maypole Green Also Marked on 1880 OS map (S3) and OS modern map (S4).
