18th century and later pottery fragments recovered from the spoil of an archaeological monitoring. The pottery sherds seen within the upcast spoil were mainly white and blue types of 19th/earlier 20th century date with occasional sherds of 18th century red earthenwares. Numerous small fragments of post medieval brick and tile were present in the spoil and one base of an 18th century wine bottle had been recovered from the excavations (S1).
