Full Description
Monitoring identified an earthwork of a possible house platform measuring 12metres east to west by 10 metres north to south and 0.4 metres high. Monitoring work cut the western edge which revealed a uniform clayey loam material with no underlying features. Five body sherds of Medieval coarseware of 13th/14th century date and two Post Medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the spoil. This feature may also be a mound of dumped topsoil (S1).
