Pottery scatter mid C1, AD.
TM 298 716: ?Same as: `TM 2986 7158 - fragments of red and grey C1 Rom pottery found on the surface of the field by Miss F Taylor....' (S1). 1976: Walked by OS - light scatter of sherds & `heavy scatter of small, well rounded, coarse brick fragments, average size 1 inch x 0.5 inch by (?) inch (S1). No sign of cropmarks (S1)(R1).
