Full Description

Site of a horse hair factory. The factory was opened by Ropers and Sons, circa 1871. It provided employment for the wives and daughters of the farmers of Lavenham. The building was used as a silk weavers after the factory closed. The site of the factory is now occupied by Lavenham Press (S1).
