Full Description

Lowestoft railway station, previously named Lowestoft Central (From 1903 to 1971), was opened in 1847. The station is the terminus of the Wherry Line to Norwich (see LWT 353) and the East Suffolk Line to Ipswich. It previously was also connected to Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway line prior to 1970 (see LWT 352).
