Full Description

An evaluation in 2014 recorded a ditch running north-east to south-west and two post holes. The ditch was 0.8m wide with a smooth profile to a depth of 0.15m and contained a single piece of post-medieval curved tile and fragments of coke. There were no finds from the post holes however the spatial relationship between the ditch and postholes suggest that they may be contemporary and form a field boundary across the area with a fence line further segregating the area (S1).
