Full Description
AW PIPELINE evaluation Trench 173 revealed a possible Post Medieval field boundary. The ditch is positioned on a north-west to south-west alignment and contained no finds. It has been truncated by a modern land drain. The ditch may correspond to a field boundary observed on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map, although the trench does appear to be a little further north and the ditch is on a slightly different alignment (S1) (S2).
Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2013 (S3)
