Full Description
A single oval pit was recorded at the southern end of this trench. This pit measured approximately 1.7m by 1m and 0.3m depth. The fill [164-04] was a dark brownish grey sandy silt rich in charcoal and containing fragments of wood. The ‘fresh’ appearance of the wood suggested to the excavator that this feature was probably modern.
