Full Description
Large post mill with two-storey roundhouse, built in 1799. It cases to work in 1929 and was pulled down in 1956. The roundhouse was partly demolised in 1971 and the walls above remain in derelict condition. There were four patent sails, two pairs of stones (head and tail), and a fantail (S1). Visible on the 1st edition OS map c.1880 (S2).
