Full Description

Small quantity of Medieval and Post Medieval artefacts identified during evaluation trenching at The Kingsfield Centre. The medieval pottery resembles Hedingham courseware variant and is dated to the Mid 12th to Mid 13th century. The Late Medieval to Post Medieval tile may represent depositions as part of the manuring of ploughsoil deposits (S1).
