Full Description
Moat, unoccupied, square, outer yards (traces). In Dennington but on junction of three parishes (S1).
1993: Moated site, sub-rectangular with island raised c. 0.5m above the external ground level, 40m x 38m. Moat is approximately 1.6m deep, 9m-12m wide with causeway on SW side. Line of NW arm extends to give pond 26m x 13m, and 14m SE of this is a parallel but much smaller pond. Moat remains waterlogged (S2).
