Full Description
Moat, small, square, isolated, occupied (S1).
1993: Moat enclosing 3 sides of a sub-rectangular island 39m x 31m, with ditch 5m-9m wide and 2.5m-3m deep. Water-filled by surface drainage. Moat which formerly bounded W side of island was crossed by central causeway, and enlarged to S to form horse-pond.
Original Elm Hall which stood on island was burnt down prior to World War II (S2).
Scheduled November 1993.
