Full Description

19th century building which was in use for c. 170 years as a butchers prior to its use as a second-hand furniture shop and the buildings demoltion. Significant alterations were made c. 1970 to the interior of the building and a cold store was added during the 1950s. The animal shelter to the rear of the building was constructed c. 1850 and does not appear on the 1840 tithe map (S1).
