Full Description

2014: An archaeological evaluation revealed two undated pits. The pits were not truncated by the agricultural activity that took place on the site until relatively recently and they may have not been dug in antiquity. One of the pits contained fragments of coke which, although it could be intrusive, is typical post medieval or modern find (S1).
