Full Description

Gilded copper alloy ?cross shaped ?mount or fitting, missing one arm. Flat sheet, central area and two smaller arms plain with 3 rivet holes; broad arm decorated with incised outline of crossed straps and lozenge, punched circle background (also on opposite arm stub) and 2 small bosses. Probably late medieval or early post medieval.
Width 38mm; Surv length 33mm, originally c53mm. (S1)
