Full Description
The evaluation showed despite extenisve recent use this has had little impact of the archaeological layer beneath. Only a few fetures were identified including two 20th century pits but an undated ditch is suggested to have an origin of some antiquity. The ditch did not contain any finds but two sherds of Late Saxon unstratified pottery were noted (S1).
