Four sub-circular pit-like features are visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) land to the east of Cedar Farm, Alderton. They are thought to be remnants of World War Two gun emplacements, and may relate to a former Heavy Anti-Aircraft battery similar to the recorded to the south east (SHER ADT 045), or field artillery position, presumably manned by the11th Highland Light Infantry, who had company HQs in nearby Hollesley and Alderton (S3).
