Summary

A rectangular and a sub-circular bank feature are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Bromeswell Heath. It is possible that these features relate to medieval to post medieval rabbit warren activity, and there are several other sites bordering Rendlesham Forest that have also been interpreted as possible warren features (SHER SUT 096-97, SUT 226-227 and EKE 035).

June 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A rectangular and a sub-circular bank feature are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1) to the east of Bromeswell Heath.
It is possible that these features relate to medieval to post medieval rabbit warren activity, and there are several other sites bordering Rendlesham Forest that have also been interpreted as possible warren features (SHER SUT 096-97, SUT 226-227 and EKE 035).
