October 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
At least three separate areas of Second World War training activity were visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) to the west of Lower Hollesley Common, at least one of which contained camoflagued structures in an area around farm buildings, centred on TM 3481 4545. Another contained at least one weapons pit or training trench, centred on TM 3454 4550.
