Full Description

August 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Undated possible former earthwork banks are visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) on Sutton Common. It was difficult to be certain whether these banks were in fact archaeological in nature, as they did appear more like vegetation on later photographs (S2), but they have been mapped since the longer bank on the eastern side may perhaps relate to part of a possible field system recorded to the south (SHER SUT 242)
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 16th September 2015.
