Full Description
Brief surface survey of the stripped area yielded a quantity of medieval pottery and roof tiling.
However there was no physical evidence of any medieval buildings in this area. Therefore it seems likely that the medieval sherds found were rubbish from the properties situated across the road or from past manuring processes.
