Full Description

Ditch or large pit identified during mains replacement work between Barton Mills and Worlington. It was identified in the western trench section, opposite a lane south of the church in Mildenhall. Tile fragments were identified at the top of the layer suggesting that the pit is late medieval or post medieval. However, no other dating evidence was found. (s1)
