Full Description

Post medieval broad and shallow ditch which runs parallel to and is 20m to the south of The Street, and orientated north-west/south-east. The fill contained a few small Post medieval peg tile fragments. It is suggested that it marks a former land plot boundary. A number of abraded pottery sherds were recovered from the field surface around the trenches. 1 Roman rim sherd (4g), 2 11th-12th century sherds (10g), 12 12th-14th century sherds (45g) and 5 15th-16th century sherds (S1).
