Full Description

Possible pit recorded during an evaluation however no finds were visible in the fill (S1). Too little of the pit was exposed enough to draw any definitive conclusions however it is suggested that this is likely to be an extraction pit as gravel extraaction is known to have occurred in the area with a known pit 150m NW of the site (S2).
