Full Description
15/16 March 1986: Coin found on surface while walking along Barsham Marshes on bank of Waveney. Rest of coins were found with metal detectors.
Brooch, folded to contain some coins (number unknown) some loose coins above and below.
Sixty one coins, all (?) Aethelraed II long cross type 997 to 1003, one disc brooch no pin.
Identified by E.B. Green (NCM).
