Full Description

Roman copper alloy and enamel flat oval plate brooch. 2nd - 3rd Century AD.
Enamelled, missing pin, most of sping, central setting (probably an intaglio). Corroded margins. Traces of blue enamel in the outer ring. Single lug for sprung pin.
Diameters 27.5mm by 22mm. Hattatt type 1207 (S1).
