Full Description
Lead seal matrix, pointed oval form, flat, cast herring-bone pattern of raised ribs on the reverse, together with a pierced lug near one edge. Die has a central four-leaf clover cruciform design and the inscription: 'the seal of Robert Busman'. 13th century.
Silver halfgroat. Edward III, pre-treaty period, 4th coinage, 1351 - 1361. York mint.
Silver halfgroat, badly clipped and cut in half, presumably to make it a half-penny. Initial mark rose? Edward IV? Canterbury mint.
