Full Description
2m deep ditch with steep sides runningeast from the south east corner of the hall was identified during monitoring. It was at a right angle to the hall's alignment and filled with a single deposit of black organic soil and brick and tile fragments contempory with the hall's date (s1). Possibly a service trench.
