Full Description

Former watermill visible on the 1st edition OS map c.1880 (S1).
Watermill dating from the late C18th but it is likely to occupy the site of an earlier mill. It remained working until 1974 and is belived to have been the last working water mill in Suffolk. It has since been restored by Suffolk Building Preservation Trust in the 1980s and still produces flour (S2).
