Full Description

January 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A small area of Second World War military training is visible on aerial photographs on Cowmarsh Hill and nearby rough ground (S1-S2), consisting mainly of small trench sections and weapons pit types features. It is possible that some of these features survive as earthworks, although the aerial photograph evidence on the latest photos is inconclusive.
